Exsnugy 36-Inch Washable Dog Crate Pad Review
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Details
A thin crate mat is for a crate that already has enough support, and its size has to match the crate floor. The Exsnugy washable dog bed mat is a gray polyester pad, 36 by 23 inches and 1.5 inches thick, with a plush surface and a listed maximum weight of 65 pounds. This review uses the listing’s specs and bullets and says where the seller makes claims that cannot be checked.
Quick answer
The Exsnugy mat is a 36 by 23 inch washable pad for a medium dog, with a plush polyester surface and a listed weight limit of 65 pounds. It is 1.5 inches thick, which the listing describes as moderate. The bullets say it fits most standard crates, but the listing does not give crate sizes. Measure your crate before you buy.
Who this mat suits
It suits a medium dog of up to 65 pounds that rests in a standard crate, and an owner who wants a plush, washable pad. It is not a thick orthopedic bed, and the listing does not describe it as one. A senior dog or a dog with joint pain may need more cushioning.

Check the crate before you buy
The listing says the mat “fits most standard dog crates,” but it does not name the crate sizes it fits. Measure the inside floor of your crate, not the outside frame, and check that the mat leaves room for the door and the crate’s bottom tray. For a crate at night, see a blanket over the dog crate at night, and for a bed with its own cover, see a dog bed with a built-in cover.
Where the listing is thin
- It does not give a fill type beyond polyester fiber, or a foam density.
- It does not say how the bottom grips the floor.
- It describes the mat as “balanced firmness” and “moderate thickness,” which are descriptions, not measured values.
Frequently asked questions
Can I machine wash it?
The bullets say yes. Dry it fully before putting it back in the crate.
Is it suitable for summer?
The bullets say the moderate thickness suits all seasons. Check your dog’s comfort in warm weather, since a plush surface can hold heat.
What is the weight limit?
The spec table says 65 pounds.
Does it come with a warranty?
The spec table says one year. Check the seller’s terms before you buy.
Bottom line
The Exsnugy mat is a washable, 36 by 23 inch pad for a medium dog in a standard crate. Measure the crate floor first, and look for a thicker product if your dog needs cushioning.
